I first thought about this idea back in 2018, watching a program about a Canadian restaurant health-safety initiative called DineSafe. It struck me how much of a difference this kind of information could make for everyday diners — knowing where you're eating is actually safe shouldn't be hard to find out.

The idea sat with me for years, waiting for the right moment.

When AI reached a point where it could genuinely help build software, not just talk about it, I saw an opportunity: could a Product Owner — someone who knows what needs to be built and why, but doesn't write code for a living — actually build a real, working platform using AI alone?

TRUSTED Restaurants is the answer to that question.

Every real decision behind this platform — what data to trust, how to protect users from misleading information, where to draw the line on scope — came from product thinking, not from writing code. AI turned those decisions into working software.

This platform is proof that the tools have changed. You don't have to be an engineer to build something real anymore — you have to know what's worth building, and be willing to see it through.
