Why Cities Are Selected

TRUSTED Restaurants prioritizes cities where authoritative restaurant health information is available and can be reliably incorporated into our platform.

We look for:

• Reliable health inspection information from the appropriate government authority
• Data that can be obtained and validated consistently
• Information that can be normalized across jurisdictions
• Sufficient restaurant-level information to make a Trusted determination

We're actively expanding to new cities as authoritative data becomes available and usable. A city marked Deferred means we haven't yet found a reliable, consistent way to incorporate that city's data — not that it's scheduled for a specific date.
